Personality Development through drama and puppetry

Aruna Kishor Foundation always supports and takes initiatives to promote activities which lead to holistic development of children. Drama and puppetry for personality development program was two days workshop organized for personality development of tribal students through drama and puppetry in three Aashramshala of Kasturba Sevaaashram. Students were taught the importance of body language, gestures, postures and speaking. They also learnt how to use available resources to solve the various issues they face in day to day lives. They also had learning exposure of various forms of drama like mono act, mime, one act, action songs etc. the workshop’s highlight was how these different arts and skills can affect their personality and attitude.

With the help of puppetry story telling was conducted and children were taught how to make stick and finger puppets. The workshop was ended with their acts, stories and puppet show presentations created and performed by the
